Lyndy first ventured into a yoga studio in search of a new exercise routine, but after just a few classes, she realized that yoga has so much more to offer outside of the physical benefits! Each time she stepped onto her mat became an opportunity to explore greater self awareness, mental and emotional clarity, and authentic freedom of movement and expression. Yoga soon became a regular practice for Lyndy to find both grounding and strength within body, mind, and spirit.
Lyndy completed her 200 hour Power/Vinyasa teacher training in September of 2018 and then went on to receive a 60 hour Yin certification in February of 2019. Lyndy believes that the true magic of yoga is in how it makes you feel rather than what it looks like - Her greatest intention as a teacher is for her students to gain a strong foundational practice in which they feel empowered to choose what fits best for themselves. In Lyndy’s classes, practitioners of all levels find the opportunity to explore poses in different ways so they may build an intentional practice that best supports them. She hopes that the inner strength, personal empowerment, and sense of calm they are guided to cultivate become tools they can rely on both on and off the mat.
Outside of class, you can find Lyndy hiking, camping, or flowing to her favorite music with her husband - Unless they are home giving treats and cuddles to their two kitties!
