New to yoga? Wondering what to wear or if you'll survive your first Downward Dog? You've come to the right place! Here's everything you need to know before you roll out your mat.
YOGA BASICS
Q: What kinds of yoga classes do you offer?
A: We've got a little something for everyone—whether you're here to sweat, stretch, chill, or just lay in Savasana (no judgment). Choose from Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Power Flow, Aerial, and more. Yes, we have classes where you mostly lie down. You're welcome. Explore our classes here.
Q: I’ve never done yoga before. Will I feel out of place?
A: Not at all! Everyone was a beginner once—even the bendy folks in the front row. Our beginner-friendly classes are slow, supportive, and full of modifications so you can ease in at your own pace.
Q: Do I need to be flexible?
A: Nope. Flexibility is a result of yoga, not a requirement. If you can breathe, you can do yoga. And if you can’t touch your toes? Even better—you’ll notice your progress sooner!
WHAT TO BRING & WEAR
Q: What should I wear to class?
A: Think stretchy, comfy, breathable—basically, your favorite athleisure outfit. Leave the jeans and belts at home. Bare feet are best for the mat!
Q: What should I wear to an Aerial class?
A: Wear close-fitting clothing that covers the legs and underarms for comfort and hygiene. Avoid wearing jewelry, zippers, or clothing with sharp edges that could damage the hammocks.
Q: Do I need to bring my own mat?
A: Bring your mat. We have a few well loved community mats in case you forget. We have blocks, straps, blankets, and all the yoga props your heart desires. We keep them clean and cozy.
CLASS DETAILS
Q: How long are classes?
A: Most of our classes are about 60-75 minutes—just long enough to feel amazing but not so long you wonder what decade it is. Some workshops run a bit longer.
Q: How do I sign up?
A: Super easy! Book online through our website. Walk-ins are cool too (as long as there's room).
Q: What if I need to cancel?
A: We get it—life happens. Just cancel at least 12 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a forfeited class or fee.
PRICING & MEMBERSHIP
Q: Do you offer class packs or memberships?
A: Yes and no! We've got drop-in rates and multi-class packs. We are looking to offer memberships in the future!
Q: Do you offer free classes?
A: Check out our community classes and occasional donation-based events! Follow us on social media or subscribe to our newsletter so you don’t miss out.
STUDIO VIBES & ETIQUETTE
Q: When should I show up?
A: Arrive 5-10 minutes early so you can check in, chat, and find your favorite spot (back corner crew, we see you). Late arrivals may have to sneak in mid-Down Dog!
Q: Can I use my phone in class?
A: No! Let your phone take a mini-vacation too. Please silence it and keep it off the mat.
Q: Are there changing rooms or showers?
A: Nope.
HEALTH & ACCESSIBILITY
Q: Is yoga safe if I’m pregnant or have an injury?
A: Totally! Just give your teacher a heads-up before class so we can offer modifications. We also have special prenatal and gentle yoga classes designed just for you.
