Katie Cottier

Instructor

Katie was first introduced to yoga in an Asian philosophy class at University. After developing a personal practice for 10 years, she was inspired to teach while expecting her first child. Now a mother of two, yoga and meditation have been Katie’s anchors while navigating life’s changes. Her classes focus on linking mental, physical, and emotional well-being through breath, movement, and conscious positivity. She believes these practices fit beautifully into any stage of life and fully supports modifications to fit individual needs.

In addition to her yoga and meditation certifications, Katie also holds a MA in Linguistics and taught ESOL internationally and domestically before shifting gears to teaching yoga. When she’s not at the studio, Katie loves volunteering at her daughters’ school, seeing live music, visiting museums, and dreaming of her next travel adventure.
