Ashley Konzmann
Founder | Instructor
Ashley’s journey began in 2004, practicing in her bedroom as a young teenager after her family relocated to Somis. Seeking connection and grounding in a new environment, she first learned yoga poses from books and practiced daily. Once she could drive, she began attending yoga classes at a local gym in Camarillo.
Her first experience teaching yoga came during a performative arts class at UCSB, where she received such enthusiastic feedback from peers that they encouraged her to pursue teaching. That encouragement planted a seed that stayed with her for 15 years, during which time she led groups through asanas and breathwork in California, Germany, Nepal, and India.
After two decades of self-teaching and personal practice, she completed her formal yoga teacher training. Yoga has been a grounding presence in her life, helping her navigate depression, grief, and loss, and has been a steady companion through joyful seasons as well.
She is passionate about making yoga accessible to all—regardless of age, ability, or background—and works with students through a compassionate, inclusive lens on their journey to physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Off the mat, she enjoys life with her husband, surfing, and ceramics. She holds an MFA in Sculpture and previously taught high school art for four years before becoming a mother. Her love for learning continues to inspire her to explore new ways to deepen her own practice and share the transformative power of yoga with others.
